Strand Palace is looking for a Duty Manager to proactively manage the day-to-day operation of the front office team and provide seamless guest service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage guest queries in a professional, courteous, and timely manner to ensure guest satisfaction, liaising HOD’s and/or senior managers where necessary
  • Respond promptly and act as the first point of contact in any emergency situations
  • Carry out regular patrols of all public areas and report any potential security, fire, or health and safety issues to relevant departments
  • Be familiar with all operational standards and be available to cover roles during busy periods, including periodic night shifts
  • Carry out regular quality spot checks including compliance to finance procedures and room allocations. Address issues and stimulate improvement as and when necessary.

What We’re Looking For

  • Mandatory management experience in hotels or similar industry 
  • Knowledge of Property based systems ( Opera/ Knowcross) is an advantage
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
